The Unremarkable Poop Emoji
Visitors to the Museum each receive a poop emoji notebook!
The poop emoji we know today is loosely based off a Japanese cartoon character called Dr. Slump and rose to prominence in 2011, when Apple added an official emoji keyboard on its iOS operating system. Adding the smile and removing the flies turned out to be a wise branding decision.

Rebuilding and Renewal
Shelves have been repaired and now we have begun repairing and replacing the exhibits that were damaged by vandals.

Vandalism at the museum
Saturday evening, June 11. at 6:30 pm, the Museum of Unremarkable Objects was vandalized and two of our exhibits were stolen.
The Crawforford County Sheriff's dept was called and a report has been filed for vandalism and theft.
A silver car was seen leaving the scene. Full description was given to the Crawford County Sheriff's Dept.

Driftlessly Wandering Women (& Dave) Visit the Museum
Thursday afternoon, we have a group visit our Museum and the Sleepy Hollow Stump. Driftlessly Wandering Women ( And Dave) a local walking/social group made the journey to our Hollow. It was a delight hosting them!

Mechanic and independent inventor Walter Hunt secured a place in American history when he invented the useful, everyday device known as the safety pin in 1849.
