Woolies Visit in October

This group of wonderful ladies were attending "Camp wool& a Driftless Retreat" in nearby Soldiers Grove and added our stop to their busy itinerary. These "woolies" are dedicated enthusiasts of the sustainable fashion brand wool& I must admit---I have several pieces of wool& in my own closet!

The Litas visit Sleepy Hollow

The Litas is a global motorcycle collective founded for women, those who identify as women, and non-binary riders. Their mission is to inspire and empower riders through a shared love of motorcycle riding. Several chapters of The Litas were represented Sunday, from both Wisconsin and Iowa. The Museum of Unremarkable Objects, the Sleepy Hollow Stump, 3 Unremarkable Tiny Art Galleries, the Love Locks Fence, and the UFO Site. A quirky roadside attraction and outsider art project. What an amazing summer!

SO many wonderful visitors! Now as the leaves change colors and the local apple orchards are crowded with tourists, we look forward to welcomng more people to our little corner of the Driftless. Tis the Season

It is a perfect time to visit the Sleepy Hollow Stump and Museum of Unremarkable Objects. You never know what you will find! Bring something to leave at the Stump...or put a padlock on the Love Locks Fence. Take a piece of art from the free little art gallery. Leave an inspirational sign in the Little Shack Where Inspirational Signs Go To Die.
